E-JUST President visit to Japan

Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary – E-JUST President visited Japan from October 2-7th, 2017. During the visit, he discussed developing the cooperation between E-JUST and different governmental and academic institutions in Japan. Prof. Al-Gohary met with Director of International Cooperation for the Middle East and Africa, Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Mr. Yuchi Ouba and International Affairs Director, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Japanese Technology – Mr. Kazuaki Kawabata. He also met with Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Vice President – Ms. Suzuki Noriko  and representitives to Japanese Supporting Universities Consortium (JSUC) consisting of eleven universities. Prof. Ahmed Al-Gohary clarified to the Japanese side all efforts of the Egyptian government and E-JUST promoting scientific research in Egypt and the Arab region. Besides, the dissemination of Egyptian-Japanese scientific partnership and expanding Japanese culture in the region. Prof. Ahmed Al-Gohary passed his gratitude to the Japanese side for their continuous support to E-JUST. During the visit, discussions were also held regarding future means of cooperation in this said field.

Moreover, E-JUST Preisdent – Prof. Ahmed Al-Gohary met with Tsukuba University President Mr. Kiyosuke Nagata. Their meeting tackled  the joint cooperation and support to the new academic programs at E-JUST. Egyptian delegation got aware with the Japanese expertise in research and scientific fields of common concern; Humanities, Basic and Apllied Sciences and Accounting. Furthermore, the possibility of dispatching members of Japanese faculty members to teach at the university and joint exchange programs. E-JUST delegation visiting members included Dr. Ahmed Fath El Bab (Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Department), Dr. Moataz Abd El-Wahab (Electronics and Communications Engineering Department) and Dr. Abdel-Razek Al-Naggar (Faculty of International Business and Humanities).
