Fall 2017 Student Enrollment
Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology offers opportunities of advanced study and academic research to Graduate students. The programs involve Master's (two years) and Doctoral (three years) courses leading to the corresponding degrees (M.Sc. and Ph.D.). Accepted applicants to the programs will be enrolled in the next Fall 2017 semester, which will begin on September 24, 2017. Lectures and instructions for research are given generally in English.
1. GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS for E-JUST POSTGRADUATE SCHOOLS
|1||Age||Applicants should be under 30 years on September 1, 2017.|
|2||Educational Background and Records||
- MSc applicants should have a very good academic record in the related undergraduate program’s major and hold a Bachelor degree in engineering with a GPA of at least 2.5 (Grade C+) or a percentage record of ≥ 75 % is required.
|3||Language (English) Proficiency||
- Admission Requirement: TOEFL iBT: 79 or Academic IELTS: 6.5.
E-JUST Entrance Examination/ Interviews
Admission Entrance Examination and Interview consists of two parts:
• The second part (Subject Exam) is related to the student
Each exam will be carried out independently for one hour duration.
Applicants are not allowed to enter the exam class room after half time of the first exam period.
Applicants are not allowed to leave the exam before half time of the exam period.
The applicant minimum acceptance percentage in each part (General Exam, Subject Exam and Interview) is 30%.

Electronics and Communications Engineering.
|Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)||The students’ academic background should be:
Engineering Degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
|Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering (MTR)||The students’ academic background should be:
Mechatronics and Robotics, Computers and Automatic control, Power Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering and Mechanical Design. Students are expected to have good knowledge of Control Engineering, Electronics and Programming.
|Industrial Engineering and Systems Management (IEM)||The students’ academic background should be:
Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering, Electrical Communication and Power Engineering, Computer Science.
|Energy Resources Engineering (ERE)||The students’ academic background should be:
Mechanical Power Engineering and Energy Engineering. Electrical Engineering, and Electronics Engineering
|Environmental Engineering (ENV)||The students’ academic background should be:
Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering only in case of that the applicants’ research area is related to E-JUST Environmental Engineering department.
|Materials Science and Engineering (MSE)||The students’ academic background should be:
Metallurgy, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, other related Engineering discipline.
|Chemicals and Petrochemicals Engineering (CPE)||The students’ academic background should be:
Chemical and Petrochemicals Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy, other related disciplines.
