E-JUST celebrates Graduation of 18 Young Scientists in Rare Disciplines

Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) holds its 11th Student Batch Graduation Ceremony on May 14th, 2017. In the presence of H.E Ambassador Faiza Abou Elnagga – Egyptian President Consultant and Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairperson, the Japanese Ambassador, Prof. Khaled Abdelghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Dr. Tarek Shawki – Minister of Education. Besides, different University Presidents, Education experts, University Professors and Japanese Univerity representatives.  


Graduated scholars represent young scientific researchers in Engineering and Scientific Techology fields. The graduates have attained their MSc and PhD Scientific Degrees in; Electronics and Communications Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Energy Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Chemicals and Petrochemicals Engineering. As for the graduates’ affiliated Universities; Al-Azhar, Alexandria, Ein Shams, Al-Mansoura, Al-Minia, Aswan, Benha and Portsaid universities. In addition to Technology Research Institute, Cairo and City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, Borg Al-Arab. 


Prof. Ahmed A-Gohary – E-JUST President stated that E-JUST is the only University in the Middle East that implements Japanese model in Education. It also has scientific partnership with twelve of the biggest Japanese Universities. E-JUST is currently preparing for first undergraduate student batch next September, in Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of International Business and Humanities (FIBH). He stated as well that E-JUST campus is currently under construction, on an area of 200 acres, at the cost of 2 Billion EGP.
