School of Energy Resources, Environmental, Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering (EECE)

“On behalf of the School faculty, staff, and students, I would like to welcome you to the School of Energy Resources, Environmental, Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering (EECE). Our school has been providing innovative research in the fields of energy, environment, and chemical engineering since its foundation in 2009. Currently, there are three departments: The Department of Energy Resources Engineering, the Department of Environmental Engineering in collaboration with Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), and the Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering. The scarcity of resources, the dangers of climate change, and the dependence on fossil fuels are major issues that confront the 21st century. Therefore, at our school we educate our students on how to develop alternative methods that generate clean and sustainable environment. We also train them to provide innovative methods for energy production, water reuse, overall natural resources conservation and clean technologies. I invite you to explore our website and take a closer look at the programs, curricula, course offerings, and our faculty.
