titled:
“Open Innovation Paradigm for Sustainable Economic Growth: the Key Function of Academia Implementing Research and Development on Basic Science & Technology”
Kyoto City has been promoting collaboration between regional industry and academia, as part of various national projects, with the aim of fostering Green Innovation and cleating a Kyoto Model of Industrial Cluster. This lecture focuses on two representative materials to outline recent development of science and technology for their application, cellulose nano-fiber (CNF) as typical renewable energy of biomass and silicon carbide (SiC) for a next-generation wide gap power semiconductor, which could play essential parts for achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
