Abstract:

This work aims to develop a process design of three important materials namely; production of High Purity Alumina from Kaolin, Aluminum Fluoride from Fluorosilicic Acid and Heavy Metals Extraction from Phosphoric Acid.” The project will focus on localization of the technology invention in Egypt. In addition this research work is collaboration between five universities, research institutes and industry namely; E-JUST, Cairo University, CMRDI, CNMR, NCIC Co.. In addition Enppi Co. is participating in this project as in kind support for the research team.

Biography:

Chairman of the Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering Department, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology(E-JUST), Borg Elarab City, Alexandria, Egypt. Has over sixty publications in international journals with impact factor and good quartile, participated in more than twenty international conferences cover different areas of expertise, supervising over twenty Ph.D and M.Sc students in both Alexandria and E-JUST Universities. Engaged in many funded projects from different funding agencies either National or international such as STDF (Egypt), ASRT (Egypt), KACST(Saudi Arabi), MFA Finland, etc..

  • Solid-Liquid Mass Transfer in both Agitated Vessels and Pulsated Beds
  • Corrosion Analysis and Control.
  • Desalination using solar humidification dehumidification technique.
  • Using new smart coating materials for corrosion prevention.
