Abdel Ghaffar: A great development in education during the era of President El-Sisi and the support of creativity and innovation

Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research welcomed the African ambassadors, the Japanese ambassador, and the director of the JICA Egypt office during his participation in the celebration of the “Second Africa Day”, at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology.

Abdel Ghaffar stressed that during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, there was a vast development in higher education including the support of scientific research, innovation, and creativity in Egypt to develop personal skills. He noted that the Egypt-Japan University is exerting substantial effort to be the center of research excellence in Africa.

The Minister of Higher Education explained that the second Africa Day has a strong impact on communication between the Egypt-Japan University and all African countries with the aim of enhancing academic and scientific cooperation.

This came through his video speech during the celebration of “Africa Day”, organized by the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology at its headquarters in Borg El-Arab, in the presence of Masaki Noke, the Ambassador of Japan in Egypt, Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of E-JUST, Prof. Masaaki Suzuki VP for International Affairs at the university and 12 African ambassadors.
