Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, said that 3 new professional and academic programs were created at the university, in the framework of developing the educational system and responding to changes in the needs of the local and international labor market. These programs support the implementation of Egypt’s vision for sustainable development 2030 and keep pace with the state’s plans and the needs of society.
He explained that the new professional programs at the university include the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Diploma in Data Analysis Engineering and a Diploma in Embedded Systems Engineering. These programs will begin next March applying the credit hour system through the University’s Industry Training Center, which was established with the aim of supporting the University’s role in community service, especially in the fields of industry and technology.
He added that there is a priority to link the University with the industry through the transfer of modern Japanese technology to Egyptian industrial institutions in various fields. This will be accomplished through specialized training courses and the transfer of applied research within the University to the industrial sector, in addition to applying the Japanese style of education that depends on laboratory studies and applied research.
He pointed out that the new professional programs have been approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and applications are open to students through the official website of the University until February 20.
