E-JUST Studies Begin at its Headquarters

Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) organizes its first orientation week for first year undergraduate students’ batch of the academic year 2019/2020. The undergraduate studies entail; Faculty of Engineering and International Business Administration. The orientation day include several introductory sessions where E-JUST Students Union presented their activities and admission conditions. In addition, welcoming the students and facilitating procedures regarding residency locations, activities building, lectures halls, laboratories and important sites at the university.

Moreover, the day included informative sessions for the following Engineering fields; Electronics and Communications, Computer Science, Electrical Power, Industrial and Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Chemical and Petrochemicals and Energy Resources. Other introductory session were presented to introduce Faculty of International Business and its different disciplines; Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources Management and Center of Liberal Culture.

Furthermore, E-JUST President Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary addressed the University’s family of faculty staff members, new students, alumni and administrative staff members. He pointed out that this academic year shall take place in the headquarters first phase, that is constructed on an area of 200 acres.

The buildings occupy only 17% of the campus area. Not only the designs are environment friendly but also apply the latest international systems and modern technologies.

Furthermore, E-JUST Vice President of Education and Academic Affairs (VPEAA) welcomed the new students and asserted on the importance of Students activities for developing their skills and potentials.

It is noteworthy to mention that the University provides professional guidance for students from the beginning of their enrollment. Also, offers different privileges including; summer training opportunities in leading companies, communication skills and leadership enhancement workshops and several others.

Last but not least, E-JUST granted several scholarships this year. The grants included scholarships from; Misr El-Kheir, Zakat, Debts and Surgey Tech. Besides, the excellence scholarships for premier governorates and athletic grants for Olympic and international winning medals. Finally, partial scholarships for police and army martyrs’ children as well as children of public universities faculty staff members and public school teachers.
