Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology Signed an Agreement to Train Administrative Cadres in El-Araby Group

In the presence of Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology – EJUST, and Eng. Mohamed Abdel Gayed El-Araby, a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of manufacturing operations at El-Araby group, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology signed an agreement with El-Araby Group, a market pioneer in the field of home and electrical appliances manufacturing and marketing, to train the administrative cadres of El-Araby Group to keep pace with the scientific development in many different administrative fields.

Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary confirmed that this is an important step that reflects the university’s vision and the strategy it adopts to serve the industrial sector, to link the outputs of scientific research to their application by providing the latest learning and training tools creating solutions to overcome the obstacles of economic development of the Egyptian industrial community. This agreement is the foundation for a new phase of partnerships with major industrial institutions in Egypt and the Middle East, where reliance on the scientific field has become the main exponent in various industrial activities to cope with global development in administrative and technical aspects. He also confirmed that El-Araby Group is one of the major industrial entities, and it possesses the distinct technical and practical experience which qualifies it to support the Egyptian economy and the development of the human cadres to have an edge in the international labor market. Prof. El-Gohary stated that the agreement would include training on supply management and supply-chain inventory planning and management, data analysis and smart decisions, economics and financial resources management, and modern leadership and essential management skills

Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Gayed Al-Araby expressed his happiness with the signing of this agreement, which culminated eight years of cooperation with Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology which resulted in a breakthrough, based on the expertise provided by the university in terms of expertise, training and practical application of the outputs of scientific research, in the planning, management, and scientific research approaches implemented at EL-Araby Group.

El-Araby pointed out that the dependence of industrial entities on universities and scientific research is the basis of the industrial breakthrough that the technologically and industrially advanced countries have reached. El-Araby praised the role of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology in its innovative solutions and scientific contributions that can be implemented in the real world, which doubles the expected return from the cooperation between E-JUST and El-Araby Group. He also emphasized the sponsorship of El-Araby Group for several researchers and the establishment of a research library at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, in addition to supporting master’s degree graduation ceremonies for postgraduate students. El-Araby also pointed out that there is a current study of a group of common aspects of cooperation that are expected to have a positive impact on the development of the home and electrical appliances industry, and modern lighting systems that are mainly based on importing technologies.
