El-Menoufia University President Welcomes E-JUST Delegation

El-Menoufia President University Prof. Adel Mubarak, welcomed a delegation from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) on September 30th, 2019.

The delegation included Prof. Ahmed Abdel Moneim – Basic and Applied Sciences (BAS) Faculty Dean and Dr. Mohamed Ayad. In addition to Dr. Mohamed El-Khouly – Physical Chemistry Professor, and Dr. Wahid Zahra – Mathematics Professor. In the presence of; Dr. Adel Nassar – Science Faculty Dean, Menoufia University and Dr. Magdy Mattar – Graduate Studies and Research Vice Dean. Thus, identify University research potentials and discuss cooperation possibilities as well as benefiting from El-Menoufia University experience in building E-JUST BAS capabilities and different potentials.

It is noteworthy to mention that E-JUST is an Egyptian public university with a Japanese partnership. E-JUST is founded based on joint cooperation between both Egyptian and Japanese governments. Accordingly, strengthening Egyptian-Japanese relations that in turn shall enhance human resources development in the entire region and promote cooperation ties between Egyptian and Japanese academic institutions.

During the meeting, both partied discussed cooperation methods in the field of research between the two universities. Besides, discussing possible scientific cooperation agreement between the two universities in various scientific fields. This shall lead to increasing cooperation among different universities in the scientific research field. Moreover, exchange of faculty staff members to participate in the development of the educational process and research between universities. Also, providing the opportunity for participation of both students and faculty members in research activities directly related to the needs of the labor market. As well as to learn about the latest techniques, systems and modern Japanese technologies.

Concluding the day, the delegation headed to the Faculty of Science to introduce and learn more about E-JUST and BAS.
