Qualifications and skills requirements:

  •  We seek outstanding candidates in the following research areas:
  • Hydrological Modeling and Integrated Watershed Modeling (including sediment transport, storm analysis).
  • Hydraulic Modeling and Simulation (physical, mathematical, and numerical).
  • Hydrology of Arid and Semi-Arid Regions (incl. groundwater).
  • Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).
  • Coastal Engineering (incl. sediment transport, ecosystem conservation).
  • River Basin Engineering.
  • Nonconventional Water Resources (desalination, water reuse …etc.).
  • Irrigation and Drainage Engineering Studies.
  • Optimization of Water Resources Conjunctive Use.
  • Applications of Remote Sensing and GIS In Water Resources and Sewer Systems.
  • Sustainability of Water Supply Systems.
  • Natural Resources Mapping and Assessment using Remote Sensing and GIS Technologies.
  • Sustainable ecosystem management.
  • We are particularly interested in individuals who contribute as active members of a rich academic community.
  • Age not more than 40 years for assistant professor and 45 for associate professors. 
  • Applicants must have a doctorate degree in irrigation and hydraulics engineering.
  • Applicants are expected to pursue state-of-the-art research and must possess an established record of publications in refereed journals and a research record commensurate with their respective rank. 
  • Applicants must also possess a demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses, as well as experience teaching courses at the MSc and PhD levels.
