Four New Programs in Computer Science and Information Technology at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology
Prof. Sameh Nada, Vice President of Education and Academic Affairs at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) confirmed that the university will award a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, through 4 new programs in the academic year 2021/2022. They are Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Networks and Cybersecurity, and Bioinformatics.
He added that the new programs keep pace with the requirements of the changing labor market in accordance with international standards.
For his part, Prof. Mostafa Soliman, Director of the Computer Science and Information Technology Program at the university, said that application to study within these new programs begins next September through the university’s website www.ejust.edu.eg. The university is keen to provide an equal opportunity for all outstanding students to enroll in the Computer Science and Information Technology programs at the university, provided that they meet the required criteria. He explained that applicants are accepted after passing the exams that qualify for admission to Computer Science and Information Technology programs in addition to a personal interview.
Regarding the admission procedures, he added that the student must obtain a secondary school certificate (science or mathematics division) or equivalent, provided that the total cumulative grade is not less than 75%, and the age of the applicant does not exceed 21 years on the date of September 1, 2021.
