Japan International Cooperation Agency Awards Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary the “JICA President” Award

Ambassador Faiza Abou el-Naga, former Minister of International Cooperation and current Advisor to the President for National Security, announced, while chairing the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), that the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) awarded the “JICA President Award” to Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of E-JUST, in recognition of his efforts in establishing and managing the University. The Award was presented by Ms. IMOTO Sachiko, Senior Vice President of JICA.
Abou el-Naga praised the university’s success in achieving 100% of its goals during this period by enrolling 1,700 students at the bachelor’s level.
Ambassador Abou el-Naga also welcomed the new council members, including Ms. IMOTO as the vice chairperson of BOT.
