Japanese Ambassador in Cairo: Tokyo Seeks Cooperation in the field of Science and Technology

Dr. Kishi – Foreign Minister Science and Technology Consultant, and Japanese leader in the field of science and technology diplomacy as an icon in the Materials Science visited Egypt.
Dr. Kishi presented two fascinating lectures at both Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) and Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT). The lectures entailed Japanese techniques and policies, as one of the leading countries in science and technology.

The seminar also addressed the idea of transforming the current information society into a so-called “society5.0”, a society that integrates virtual space with reality.
Dr. Kishi also met with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Khaled Abd El-Ghaffar, who oversees the development of Egypt’s strategy in the field of artificial intelligence.
For his part, Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Mr. Masaaki Noki expressed his will in finding cooperation methods in those related aspects to science and technology.
