Within the framework of the necessary precautions and preventive measures to fight the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology contracted with one of the specialized pioneering companies in the field of sterilization to sterilize the university premises. The campaign included applying the latest techniques to sterilize and purify all university facilities and premises: the main campus and its teaching halls and classrooms, research laboratories, dormitories, activity hub, playgrounds, gardens, headquarters, students’ dormitories, medical clinic, garage, guest house, the cafeteria, and restaurants of the university. This campaign was in the light of the instructions of Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, president of the university, to achieve the maximum and best safety measures for students, academics and administrative staff. Additionally, the university was supplied with all the required sterilization kits, i.e. hand sterilizers and sanitizers, face masks, and other medical supplies to stand against the risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
