President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology: Academic Scholarships for Distinguished Students Worth 38 million Pounds
Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, assured that an academic scholarships program has been established to attract distinguished students in different areas of the scientific, ethical, athletic and educational fields to prepare a generation of graduates who will be role models and future leaders in society. These students will be taught locally in accordance with the highest educational standards and through lofty values to graduate academic cadres ready to participate in the construction and development process.
Moreover, Prof. El-Gohary stated that the various scholarships, offered by the Egyptian and Japanese sectors and civil society organizations to support the distinguished undergraduate students and Syrian students as well, are at the cost of 38 million pounds. Besides, he mentioned that there are other full scholarships dedicated to the students at the University who are children of the police or armed forces martyrs, as those students are completely exempted from all fees like tuition, nutrition, and accommodation when they join the University.
