Safe Distancing and Masks: Beginning of Second Semester Exams at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology

Maintaining all the precautionary measures and procedures to care for the safety of members participating in the examination process, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, Borg El-Arab, began the final exams of the second semester in the faculties of the University on Saturday.

The exams are managed under strict and thorough compliance to the safety measures required to allow for a safe environment and a proper examination atmosphere. Moreover, the University provided all facilitations and services to students, minimized exam room capacity, and assured social distancing and that masks were worn in the exam rooms.

On the other hand, Prof. Sameh Nada, Vice President of Education and Academic Affairs, has issued his directives to all deans stressing the necessity of continuous supervision of the required safety procedures including the sterilization and disinfection processes of all venues, exam rooms, and dormitories, and prohibition of all student gatherings. Also, he issued strict instructions to the medical staff to have the clinic prepared for emergencies.

Furthermore, Prof. Nada assured that a pack of safety and precautionary measures is applied at the dormitories to face COVID-19. These precautions include assigning a separate room to every student, continuous maintenance of the sterilization gates, and offering all required disinfectants to students during their stay at the dorms.
