The Board of Trustees of the Egyptian-Japanese University reviews the most important achievements in its meeting in the presence of the Japanese Ambassador

On Tuesday December 3rd, 2019, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) held its 20th Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting. The held BoT meeting is chaired by Prof. Noriko Suzuki Vice-President of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Among the presence was Japanese Ambassador in Cairo and E-JUST President Prof. Ahmed Al-Gohary. BoT members included; Former Minister of Higher Education Prof. Hany Helal and Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) President Dr. Mahmoud Sakr and Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) Secretary General Dr. Mohamed Latif.

BoT Chairman Ambassador Faiza Abou El-Nagga, was unable to attend the meeting due to her travel abroad.
The Board of Trustees reviewed several scientific achievements during the past months. For instance, the University welcomed its third undergraduate students batch for both Engineering and International Business Administration studies.

It is noteworthy to mention that the Board praised the volume of construction works that took place at E-JUST new headquarters. The set campus is funded by the Egyptian government with an exceeding value of 5.5 Billion EGP of its budget. Accordingly, representing a major scientific edifice within the framework of Japanese government partnership. Thus, offering needed technical and laboratory equipment and others in order to make E-JUST a cooperation model between the two friendly countries.

To conclude, several weeks ago E-JUST celebrated the beginning of its new academic year.
