With Images … E-JUST Renews Cooperation Agreement with Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector

Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) President Prof. Ahmed Al-Gohary signed an agreement with Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector (cams). CAMS is represented by its chairperson Dr. Camelia Sobhi. Within the framework of renewing the held agreement protocol between E-JUST and CAMS where it was also represented by Dr. Camelia Sobhi.

Prof. Ahmed Al-Gohary clarified that this agreement aims at attracting faculty staff members from Egyptian different public universities and research centers to acquire MSc and PhD scientific degrees. The study fields include Engineering, Basic and Applied Sciences, and International Business Management.

On the sidelines of signing the agreement, a tour was organized for CAMS delegation. The tour included a visit to E-JUST Administrative Building, administrative offices, lecture classrooms and computer labs. The delegation also visited the university headquarters. E-JUST headquarters has its own lecture halls, administrative offices, facilities and Central Research Laboratories Building. In addition, they checked E-JUST Secondary Campus including students’ housing, University guesthouse and outdoor playgrounds. Besides, Information Technology Data Center, solar power stations and the Japanese garden. As for Activities Hub Building, its several sports include; squash courts, swimming pool, gymnasium, etc…

Moreover, CASM Chairperson Dr. Camelia Sobhi praised the amount of E-JUST achievements. By which, stressing the importance of scientific, educational and research role among Egyptian society. Accordingly, offering the educational environment that stimulates creativity and innovation.

Furthermore, It is noteworthy that E-JUST is an Egyptian governmental research university, based upon the fruitful cooperation between both Egyptian and Japanese governments. The university targets providing modern academic programs and establishing centers of excellence for basic and applied research, serving local and regional communities, by having partnerships with academic and research institutions. E-JUST has a partnership coalition with 13 of the largest Japanese universities.

Last but not least, E-JUST began its academic programs with postgraduate engineering education for conferring MSc and PhD scientific degrees. The first postgraduate students’ batch were enrolled in February 2010. In 2017, undergraduate students were registered in eight postgraduate Engineering studies; Electronics and Communications, Computer Science, Electrical Power, Industrial and Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Chemical and Petrochemicals and Energy Resources. Finally, the school of Basic and Applied Sciences. There are two programs at the Faculty of International Business and Humanities; Human Resources Management and Accounting and Systems Management.
