JLPT Japanese Language Proficiency Test Successfully Held at Egypt-Japan University

In collaboration with the Japan Foundation: The JLPT Japanese language proficiency test was held at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology in Alexandria. Prof. Amr Adly, President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, announced that as part of enhancing cooperation and partnership between the Egypt-Japan University and the Japan Foundation, the JLPT Japanese language proficiency test was conducted at the university's campus in Borg El Arab, Alexandria, on July 7. A total of 109 students from various universities in Egypt participated in the exam, which includes five levels. Among them were 20 students from the Egypt-Japan University. Prof. Adly explained that in the framework of implementing the university's strategic plan to prepare its students and graduates to compete in the international job market, teaching Japanese is of utmost importance at the university, especially with Japan's need for qualified human resources to work in Japanese institutions and companies in the coming period. Therefore, intensive summer programs for learning Japanese have been held, providing graduates with the opportunity to work in Japanese companies in various engineering and administrative specialties.
