We proudly announcing that E-JUST team, led by Dr. Haitham El-Husseiny, secured second place in the 8th International Military Technical College (ICMTC) Drone Challenge held in Cairo, Egypt. Competing against international teams from China, India, and Turkey, the team excelled in a series of demanding tasks, including drone assembly, testing, and a final presentation that showcased advanced machine learning and computer vision techniques. The team was made up of a mix of faculty members and students, including Ziad Shuaib (Teaching Assistant) and Abdullah Al-Amir (Teaching Lecturer). The student participants were Ahmed Louay, Ahmed Mostafa Attia, Karim Ahmed Abu Al-Mohsen, Ahmed Anwar Mazhar, Ahmed Mohamed Hassan, Mohamed Al-Siyagi Ali, Abdelrahman Amr Al-Sayed, and Mohamed Ashraf. Their achievement reflects E-JUST's dedication to fostering innovation and technical excellence, as well as the strength of its academic programs and research facilities. This win also underscores the importance of teamwork and determination in achieving success on the international stage.
