E-JUST President: Allocating 1 million Egyptian Pounds to Support Student Innovative Competitions

Prof. Amr Adly, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology announced the approval of the University Council in its meeting on September 26th, 2022, to allocate 1 million Egyptian pounds from the self-funding resources of the university to support student innovative competitions at the university and the scientific and innovative competitions of E-JUST students at other universities. Additionally, he announced that this decision aligns with the instructions of the political leadership that support talented and innovative students. Moreover, in the light of adopting the Japanese model being applied at the university and applying the strategic plan of the university, which mainly aims at achieving the goals and fulfilling the vision of Egypt 2030, the university is keen on supporting students' abilities of innovation and creation, and on following new approaches in project-based education. Adding to that, Prof. Adly mentioned that the university is eager to find gifted and distinguished students in different areas, i.e., science, sports, and arts, to hone their skills, and to support them in international competitions. Finally, he added that E-JUST allocates scholarships for students who excel in sports and science.
