Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) welcomed a delegation from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government – Board of Education as part of a cultural exchange program for Tokyo Metropolitan high school students. The delegation included 24 students, 6 teachers, and 3 staff members from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education. The program aims to foster future global human resources by enabling students to adapt to multicultural societies, develop cooperative attitudes towards solving global issues, and understand the benefits of internationalization. Participants also had the opportunity to experience the diversity and rich traditions of Egyptian culture. E-JUST contributed to this program by motivating Japanese students to explore international opportunities, raising awareness about multicultural societies, and showcasing the university's role in internationalization and its impact. The event also strengthened ties between participants and Egyptian society through E- JUST facilitation. The visit began with a welcome speech by Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, and Prof. Shuji Hashimoto, First Vice President for Regional and International Affairs. The event was organized and handled internally by E-JUST’s International Affairs Office, in collaboration with Mr. Go Sai, Supervisor of the Global Talent Cultivation Division, International Education Exchange Section of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education. This visit reflects E-JUST’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange and fostering global understanding.
