Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computing at E-JUST

The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) successfully hosted the 12th Japan-Africa Conference on Electronics, Communications, and Computing at its main campus in New Borg El-Arab City, Alexandria. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST, in collaboration with Kyushu University in Japan and Egypt Informatics University. Prof. Amr Adly stated that the conference focused on the latest research trends in electronics, communications, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI). He highlighted the participation of renowned scholars from universities in Canada, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kenya, and South Africa, in addition to several Japanese and Egyptian universities. As part of the conference, a workshop titled “6th Generation Networks” was held, and engineering graduation projects from various Egyptian universities were showcased. Prof. Mohamed Sharaf, Dean of the School of Electronics, Communications, and Computing and the conference chair, noted that 100 research papers were submitted from different countries, out of which 62 were selected for presentations during the event.
