During his participation, Prof. Amr Adly met with several French university and institution leaders to discuss academic and research collaboration, particularly in the fields of engineering, technology, and renewable energy. The opening session included keynote speeches on the importance of internationalizing higher education, linking education to industry, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as developing joint academic programs, exchanging students and faculty members, and expanding research partnerships in areas such as energy, water, health, and artificial intelligence. Participants from both sides emphasized the deep cultural and scientific relations between Egypt and France, highlighting the significance of this forum in opening new avenues for cooperation. Several agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed, including support for the French University Project in Egypt and the expansion of its new environmentally friendly campus. The forum also featured discussion sessions on issues such as funding higher education, developing digital infrastructure, and integrating artificial intelligence and technology into the educational process, in alignment with the goals of Egypt's national strategy for higher education and scientific research and Egypt's Vision 2030. During the forum, Prof Amr Adly signed a memorandum of understanding with the École Supérieure d'Ingénierie Numérique (ESIN) in France, aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of higher education and innovation, and supporting joint projects in technology and scientific research.
