In response to an official invitation from Major General Eng. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Electronics Factory under the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), Prof. Amr Adly, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), accompanied by a delegation from the university, paid a field visit to the Electronics Factory to explore its capabilities and discuss potential avenues of cooperation. During the visit, Prof. Amr Adly met with Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of AOI, to discuss prospects for enhancing collaboration in the fields of local manufacturing and technology localization in support of the university’s educational and research endeavors. The tour included an in-depth visit to the Electronics Factory, where the university president reviewed the factory’s advanced production and technological capabilities, including state-of-the-art production lines for electronic components, surveillance systems, and imaging technologies. Discussions focused on how these technologies could contribute directly to equipping E-JUST’s new Western Campus with cutting-edge solutions. As part of E-JUST’s intensive preparations for the upcoming inauguration of its Western Campus in Borg El Arab, Alexandria—scheduled for June—Prof. Adly also met with Major General Ibrahim Mahrous, Chairman of the Real Estate Development and Urban Planning Company, which is responsible for executing the construction works. The discussion covered the project’s progress and readiness, especially the modern student housing facilities, to ensure completion ahead of the official opening. This visit reflects the university's ongoing commitment to partnering with leading national institutions with deep-rooted expertise to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in its infrastructure. The goal is to provide a comprehensive and future-ready educational environment aligned with global benchmarks and E-JUST’s vision for excellence and leadership both locally and internationally.
