Egypt Japan University Wins 5 Gold & 7 Bronze Medals in Egypt’s National Universities Swimming Championship. Professor Hatem Mahmoud ;the supervisor of student activities ; has announced that the university has won 12 medals ,including 5 gold and 7 bronze medals; from participating in the competitions of Egypt Universities Swimming Championship as the student Hassan Essam Hashem ,2nd year Faculty of Engineering student, has won 1st & 3rd place in the 50 miles competition ,also the student Judy Sherif has won 1st place in the mono underwater 50 miles competition as well as the 1st place in the 100 miles mono competition while the student Hana Amr Mohamed ; 1st year Pharma D. student ;has won 3rd place in the mono 200 miles competition . Professor Hatem added that in the free swimming competition the student Malak Mohamed Abdel Gabar ;1st year Faculty of Engineering Student; has won 1st place in the 50 miles & 100 miles free competition. In addition, Yassin Alaa Elbeih; 1st year Faculty of International Business student ; has won 3rd place in the 200 miles back competition. Moreover, the university has won the 3rd place in the 100 miles succession competition with the participation of the swimmers Yassin Walid Abowarda, Yassin Alaa Elbeih & Adham Adel Abaza. Professor Amr Adly ,the president of EJUST, has congratulated the champions for their honorable representation of the university in Egypt’s National Universities Swimming Championship and Fin swimming for winning 12 medals , he said that the university is proud of its athletic students , he also added that the university is keen on encouraging and supporting student activities due to their important role in shaping student characters and developing their skills as the university has sports fields as well as a swimming pool , a gym and excellent coaches.
