PharmD Student at Egypt-Japan University Wins a Gold and a Bronze Medal in the Republic’s Junior Fencing Championship Dr. Hatem Mahmoud, the supervisor of student activities at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, announced that the player Mohamed Gaber, a student in the PharmD program at the University, won the gold medal in the individual fencing competition, and the bronze medal in the team competition during his participation in the Republic’s U-20 Junior Individual Fencing Championship. This Championship was organized in the Administrative Capital during 22-24 December. Prof. Amr Adly, President of the University, congratulated the winning student for his athletic excellence and honorable representation of the University in the Republic’s U-20 Junior Individual Fencing Championship, as well as winning the gold and bronze medals in the championship. The President of the University confirmed that the University gives priority to supporting student activities in various fields for their role in building student personality. Scholarships are also offered for scientific and athletic excellence. The University is keen to support students who excel in athletics and motivate them to participate in sports competitions to develop their skills by providing swim training halls and distinguished trainers for various sports. Last August, a student in the PharmD program at Egypt-Japan University won first place in the javelin throw competition in the U-23 Championship of the Republic. Dr. Hatem Mahmoud, supervisor of student activities at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, said that the sophomore student, Tasneem Essam Gharib in Pharm D program, won first place in the javelin throw competition in the U-23 Championship of the Republic.
