At the University's Main Campus in the New City of Borg El-Arab, Prof. Amr Adly, President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), welcomed Ambassador András Kovács, Ambassador of Hungary in Egypt.
The visit began by presenting full details of the university, including how agreements were reached between the Japanese and Egyptian governments regarding the design of the university's buildings and the efforts made to create an atmosphere that is environmentally friendly.
The ambassador commended the shared educational system between Japan and Egypt, which can be seen at the E-JUST. In addition, he suggested that educational opportunities and university scholarships can be utilized in the coming years as opportunities for collaboration between Egypt and Hungary.
At the end of the visit, the ambassador toured the university's labs, H.E. Fayza Abou Elnaga's Central Library, Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary's Center of Excellence for Research, and the Activity Hub.
