Egypt Japan University for Science and Technology (E-JUST) is proud to host the 4th International Conference of Chemical, Energy, and Environmental Engineering on July 17-18, 2023. The conference aims to bring together researchers, academics, and industry professionals to discuss the latest developments and emerging trends in the field of chemical, energy, and environmental engineering.
The opening ceremony was held at the Main Library of Fayza Aboelnaga and was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Ahmed Shazly, Head of Organizing Committee of the Conference and Professor of Department of Chemical and Petrochemicals Engineering, Dr. Mona Gamal El Deen, Dean of Energy Resources Environmental Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering School and Rapporteur of the Conference, and Dr. Sameh Nada, Vice President for Education and Academic Affairs and Secretary General of the Conference.
Prof. Ashraf El Ghandour, Vice President of Alexandria University for Postgraduates Studies and Research, delivered a speech on behalf of Prof. Abdelaziz Konsoah, President of Alexandria University, expressing his pleasure at E-JUST's collaboration and the university's achievements in the field of science and technology.
Dr. Amr Adly, President of E-JUST and Chairman of the Conference, highlighted the importance of the conference in addressing national and international environmental challenges. He emphasized the need for top-class research and papers in chemical engineering and thanked the conference organizers, Japanese collaborators, and JICA supporters for their dedication and hard work.
The conference program included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and technical sessions covering topics such as chemical engineering, energy engineering, environmental engineering, sustainability, and climate change. The conference also featured an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the field.
