Professor Dr. Amr Adly, President of the Egypt Japan University of Science and Technology (EJUST), accompanied by the guests of honour Professor Dr. Aleya Abd ElHadi- Professor of Interior Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Professor Dr. Marwa Mahfouz- Professor of Interior Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, and CEO of HEADS for Architectural, Interior Design, and Landscape Company, and Dr. Ahmed Romouzy- Director of Art & Design Programs, inaugurated the event.
They Held a Meeting with Dr. Amr Adly, the President of the University, During their meeting Dr. Aleya expressed her admiration for the development of EJUST over the years and confirmed its uniqueness as a government university. Dr. Marwa expressed her appreciation for EJUST's focus on building the mindset and personality of students while emphasizing manufacturing and productivity.
This exhibition, which runs until August 8, 2023, except for weekends and official holidays, is an anticipated event to showcase the work of Art & Design students in the Spring Semester Courses, including "Still Nature Drawing" and "Art & Culture in Museums", in addition to a collection of mini-projects in the fields of Product Design, Interior Design, and Digital Media.
The opening ceremony was attended by students, their parents, a number of university professors, and members from the EJUST-JICA Project team.
The exhibition represents EJUST's commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience for the students. It showcases talents and creativity of students in Art & Design, highlights its importance to the industry and society, and prepares distinguished and diverse generations to meet the requirements of the job market in the digital age.
