In a momentous ceremony held on Monday, July 31, 2023, Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, the former president of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), was honored with the esteemed "Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon." This distinguished accolade was bestowed upon Prof. El-Gohary by His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan, recognizing his remarkable contributions and dedication to fostering international collaboration and academic excellence.
The ceremony, which took place at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador Oka Hiroshi in Egypt, was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Prof. Amr Adly the current president of the university, and several deans of the university’s faculties.
