With deep sorrow and sadness, the Board of Trustees of the Egypt-Japan University for Science and Technology, under the leadership of Prof. Hany Helal – Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and former Minister of Higher Education, and the University President Prof. Amr Adly, along with all the university staff, including faculty members and administrative staff, mourn the loss of our esteemed Dr. Hassan Abbas Helmy, the father of Dr. Sherien Helmy,
E-JUST BoT member. The departed has left indelible marks in the fields of national pharmaceutical industry and scientific research. He was a unique model and a key supporter of scientific research and education, contributing significantly to the renaissance of the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt.
We pray that the departed be embraced by the vast mercy of Allah and be granted a place in the spacious gardens of paradise. May his family and loved ones find solace and patience in this difficult time. To Allah, we belong and to Him, we shall return. We implore Allah to place the departed in the highest ranks of goodness and make his distinguished journey a beacon illuminating the paths of knowledge and industry in our beloved country.
