Over three days, Professor Dr. Amr Adly, President of the Egypt Japan University for Science and Technology (E-JUST), participated in meetings alongside esteemed global scientists in San Diego, USA. These meetings convened over 200 editors-in-chief of international scientific journals affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The discussions encompassed various topics, including international publishing mechanisms and ethics, editorial board and reviewer selection processes, digital platforms, financial and administrative aspects, and future challenges. It's worth noting that Dr. Amr Adly has been serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal IEEE Transactions on Magnetics since January 2022. This appointment reflects his distinguished international scientific background and multifaceted expertise. He stands as the sole Egyptian academic to hold an editorship position at an IEEE journal, and he is one of the few Egyptians honored as an IEEE Fellow, alongside receiving numerous scientific awards, including recognition from the State for Encouragement, Excellence, and Appreciation, as well as awards from the Shoman Foundation in Jordan and the Outstanding Graduate Award from the University of Maryland, USA. Scientific research serves as a cornerstone in the Egypt Japan University for Science and Technology's (E-JUST) strategy, enriching students' experiences and aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030 objectives.
