School of Innovative Design Engineering

The Innovative Design Engineering school of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology includes three departments: Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, and Material Science and Engineering. The school offers a wide selection of graduate and undergraduate programs that allow the students to choose among them according to their preferences. The different programs are designed to be multi-disciplinary allowing the graduates to have a wide opportunity in the job market. Also, they are equipped with multi-dimensional skills that distinguish them from other graduates. The state-of-the-art facilities, educational and research equipment allow the school faculty to provide advanced education as well as cutting-edge research.

The school enjoys the partnership of top Japanese Universities including Kyoto University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Waseda University. Japanese best practices in education and research are strictly followed in all aspects of the school activities to ensure that the students get the best academic experience and be well prepared to pursue their careers.

The IDE school will be a cradle to produce technically-grounded society leaders who are creative and innovative with entrepreneurial perspective based on strong knowledge of mathematics, science, and technology. The IDE school is established to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and science in the areas of materials, robotics, mechatronics, manufacturing technology and industrial engineering. We aim to nurture technically-grounded leaders and innovators to serve the needs of the society, with a focus on Design, through an integrated multi-disciplinary undergraduate and graduate curricula and multi-disciplinary research.
