Introduction:

In its efforts to achieve national and international accreditation for its academic programs, the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology is committed to strengthening its quality assurance framework. In this context, the Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences is working to build an integrated quality system at both the institutional and program levels, with the goal of applying for institutional and programmatic accreditation.

National accreditation is the formal recognition granted by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) to an educational institution or academic program (https://naqaae.eg/ar/), once the faculty demonstrates adequate institutional capacity and educational effectiveness in accordance with the Authority’s approved and published standards, and shows that it has advanced systems capable of ensuring continuous improvement and enhancement of quality.

To support this process, the Quality Assurance Unit was established within the faculty to document and monitor continuous improvement across all academic and administrative systems and processes. Its mission is to ensure the production of high-quality, efficient outputs and to contribute to achieving the college’s strategic objectives.
