Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology
The university strives to attract the best student calibers who maintain scientific, ethical, athletic, and educational excellence, to set an example and shape leaders for society in the future. Thereby, the university incorporates the best calibers of academic faculty members - Egyptian and Japanese - as well as members of the administrative staff.
To this end, the university offers a set of grants to encourage and attract exceptional calibers that deserve to be affiliated with the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology to achieve the mission it was founded for, which is to provide the highest level of education and learning from within our homeland through high and sublime values without compromise or concession, hence, to graduate citizens who are able to meet the call of the nation in its deserved growth and rise.
First Category: Academic Excellence Scholarship
First: Academic Excellence Scholarship for Egyptian Regular Thanwaya Ama Certificate
A set of scholarships are listed under the Academic Achievement Scholarship:
Exemption of 100% of the tuition fees scholarships are granted to the top 100 students in the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate Examinations (not equivalent certificates) from each division (not including accommodation and food).
Exemption of 100% of the tuition fees scholarships are granted to the top two students in the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate Examinations from each of the Egyptian governorates (not equivalent certificates) from each division (not including accommodation and food).
The university offers a maximum of five excellence scholarships for each of these governorates (100% exemption from tuition fees) for outstanding students from these governorates (including exemption from accommodation and food expenses).
Excellence academic achievement means academic excellence based on Student score in Thanawaya Ama and in the university admission exam. It is calculated based on an equal percentage (50%: 50%) of Total student score in the Egyptian General Secondary Certificate – Thanawaya Ama- (not equivalent certificates) + the university entrance exam scores. The outstanding students in this score are granted reductions in tuition fees (not including accommodation and food) according to this average score of both the General Secondary Certificate and the university entrance examination as follows:
Second: STEM School and International Baccalaureate (IB) government schools Scholarships:

In order for the student to annually continue to obtain this category of the different types of scholarships mentioned first, second and third sections, his cumulative (CGPA) at the start of each academic year should not be less than 3.
Fourth: Excellence Scholarships for Students Enrolled in the University:
Excellence enrolled university students receive a scholarship of 20% exemption from the academic year tuition fees (not including accommodation and food) if they obtain a cumulative grade (CGPA) 3.7-3.84 in the previous academic year and a scholarship of 40% exemption from tuition expenses (Not including accommodation and food) if they obtained a cumulative grade (CGPA) 3.85-4 in the previous academic year.
It is not permissible to combine this scholarship with other scholarships for academic excellence mentioned in the first, second and third clauses. Rather, the student enjoys the scholarship of the highest value.
Second Category: Athletic Achievement Scholarship
New students joining the university this academic year who have won gold, silver or bronze medals in international, Arab, African or local championships during the years 2021-2022-2023 receive scholarships of 100% exemption from tuition fees (not including accommodation and food) according to the following table, as well as the current enrolled students in the university obtain the same scholarships for the remaining years of studies in the university, in the event they obtain the same medals in the same championships according to the following table, and they will be applied in the academic year following the winning of the sports championship.

For the student to continue to obtain this sports scholarship, his cumulative average in any year (CGPA) should not be less than 2.4 and he obligate represent the university in local and international sports activities upon request.
Third Category: Sons and daughters of E-JUST Employees & brother or sister o fE-JUST Students Scholarships
1- The Sons and daughters of Egyptian-Japanese University employees who have been appointed to the university since more than one year will receive the following scholarships as long as they currently work for the university (he did not leave it to work elsewhere) or reach the age of retirement:
2- Each of the brothers or sisters, as well as each of the twins studying at the university, gets a 25% exemption of tuition fees (not including accommodation and food) when joining the university, and this scholarship ends with the graduation of one of the students.
3- The brother or sister of any university graduate receives a 20% exemption from tuition fees (not including accommodation and food) upon joining the university
Fourth Category: Sons and daughters of the Military and Police Force Martyrs and Sons and daughters of Armed Forces personnel wounded in action.
They receive a 100% exemption from tuition fees (including accommodation and food) upon joining the university after submitting the official documents that prove so.
Fifth Category: Sons and daughters of Employees in the Some Entities
First: Entities obtain 25% reduction of tuition fees
Sons and daughters of Employees in the following entities obtain 25% reduction in the tuition fees (not including accommodation and food)
(a) Members of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
(b) Egyptian police personnel.
(c) Faculty members in Egyptian public universities.
(d) Teachers working in Egyptian public schools.
(e) Ezz Steel Group
Receive an exemption of 25% from tuition fees, excluding accommodation and food expenses, when they join the university.
Second : Entities obtain 10% reduction of tuition fees
Sons and daughters of Employees in the following entities obtain 25% reduction in the tuition fees (not including accommodation and food)
Six Category: Sons and daughters of the Engineer Officers Working in the Armed Forces Engineering Authority
In recognition of the historical role of the Engineering Authority in building the campus, the university offers five 100% Exemption of Tuition Fees (Not including accommodation and food) to the Sons and daughters of officers working in the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. These are to be distributed by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority with the approval of the university after passing the requirements for admission.
