Professor Amr Adly, President of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), welcomed a delegation from the University of Orléans, France, to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
Professor Amr Adly stated that the visit aligns with E-JUST’s strategy to expand its global network of partnerships with distinguished universities and research institutions worldwide. Such collaborations contribute to advancing the quality of education and scientific research while creating new avenues for international cooperation.
The French delegation included Professor Hervé Perreau, Head of Bilateral Partnerships at the University of Orléans, and Professor Fanny Durville, Head of International Relations for the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Management. During the visit, representatives from both universities held a series of meetings to explore potential areas of cooperation in academic and research fields of mutual interest.
Professor Adly added that the delegation was introduced to E-JUST’s advanced academic and research capabilities and toured the university campus, including several specialized laboratories and state-of-the-art research centers. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the university’s research and technological infrastructure and its role in supporting innovation and scientific excellence.
The tour also included an overview of E-JUST’s academic faculties, departments, and educational programs in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Pharmacy, Basic and Applied Sciences, International Business and Humanities, and Art and Design.
Professor Adly emphasized that E-JUST looks forward to further developing its collaboration with the University of Orléans in the areas of education, scientific research, knowledge exchange, and joint research initiatives. He noted that such cooperation supports sustainable development goals and addresses emerging global challenges across various disciplines.
The French delegation expressed its appreciation for E-JUST’s advanced academic and research facilities and praised its distinguished educational environment, which combines international standards with the Japanese educational model based on quality, innovation, and practical application. The delegation affirmed that E-JUST represents a successful model of international cooperation in higher education and scientific research.
