The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) welcomed a high-level delegation representing several leading Japanese companies operating in Egypt and Japan, including Dai Nippon Construction, Sumitomo Corporation Egypt, and Hosoda Holdings. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry and to explore internship and employment opportunities for E-JUST students and graduates.

The program featured introductory presentations delivered by the Faculty of International Business and Humanities (FIBH), the Faculty of Engineering across its various departments, and the Career Support Office. These sessions highlighted the university’s academic programs, research capabilities, and initiatives designed to prepare students for the labor market.

The delegation also toured the university campus and laboratories to gain firsthand insight into E-JUST’s advanced educational facilities and its distinctive hands-on learning environment.

Specialized meetings and laboratory visits were conducted across different faculties and departments, enabling direct discussions between company representatives, faculty members, and students. These interactions focused on applied research areas, technical expertise, and potential avenues for joint cooperation.

The visit concluded with a closing session reviewing key discussion points and exploring the possibility of establishing structured internship programs and future employment pathways for E-JUST students and alumni.

This visit marks an important step toward deepening strategic partnerships between E-JUST and major Japanese corporations, fostering knowledge exchange, enhancing employability opportunities for students, and reinforcing sustainable collaboration between academia and industry.
