If any school/institute/program wishes to apply for institutional or academic accreditation for its programs from any internal or external body, the decision is made by the Unit board and approved by the dean. The Center assists the schools/institutes/programs by informing them of the means and procedures for accreditation.
The Center’s board can propose/request external monitoring from similar internal or external centers to the university president at the university’s expense. The Center is responsible for implementing the quality monitoring system in the units.
In matters not specifically addressed in these regulations, the provisions of the Universities Organization Law and its executive regulations apply.
These regulations come into effect from the date of the university council’s approval and supersede any previous regulations.
The Center’s board distributes responsibilities among its executive committees as follows:
- Curriculum Evaluation and Faculty Members Committee.
- Self-Study and Strategic Plan Follow-Up Committee.
- Training Committee.
- Publishing and Information Technology Committee.
- One secretary.
- Two volunteer students selected by the Center.
- Two assistant faculty members selected by the Center.
