Duties of the Center’s Board of Directors
- Approving general policies and plans to achieve the Center’s goals.
- Proposing incentives and rewards for outstanding activities by the Center and Units’ staff and submitting them to the university president.
- Delegating certain urgent responsibilities to the Center’s director as determined by the Board.
- Proposing acceptance of donations, grants, and aid for the Center and units in the field of quality assurance and submitting them to the university president.
- Reviewing semi-annual reports from the units in schools and institutes.
- Preparing the semi-annual reports for the Center and its units and submitting them to the university president.
Duties of the Units’ Boards of Directors:
- Approving plans to achieve the Unit’s goals in alignment with the Center’s objectives and plans.
- Proposing incentives and rewards for outstanding activities by the Unit’s staff and submitting them to the university’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.
- Delegating certain urgent responsibilities to the Unit’s director as determined by the Board.
- Proposing acceptance of donations, grants, and aid for the Unit and submitting them to the university’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.
- Preparing the Unit’s semi-annual report and submitting it to the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university.
Duties of the Center’s Director:
- Calling for and presiding over board meetings.
- Monitoring the implementation of general policies to achieve the Center’s objectives.
- Monitoring the execution of decisions made by the Board.
- Proposing the secondment of staff to the Center and suggesting disciplinary actions for violations committed by them to the university president per the university and labor laws.
- Proposing the distribution of incentives and rewards to staff and presenting them to the university president as per the Board’s regulations.
- Any other responsibilities delegated by the Board.
- Representing the Center before external entities.
Duties of the Unit Directors:
- Calling for and presiding over unit board meetings.
- Monitoring the implementation of general policies to achieve the Unit’s objectives.
- Monitoring the execution of decisions made by the Board.
- Proposing the secondment of school/institute/program staff to the Center and suggesting disciplinary actions for violations committed by them to the dean of the school/institute/program per the university and labor laws.
- Proposing the distribution of incentives and rewards to staff and submitting them to the dean of the school/institute/program.
- Reporting the Unit’s board decisions to the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center via the dean of the school/institute.
- Other duties delegated by the Board.
- Representing the Unit before external entities.
