Duties of the Center’s Board of Directors
  1. Approving general policies and plans to achieve the Center’s goals.
  2. Proposing incentives and rewards for outstanding activities by the Center and Units’ staff and submitting them to the university president.
  3. Delegating certain urgent responsibilities to the Center’s director as determined by the Board.
  4. Proposing acceptance of donations, grants, and aid for the Center and units in the field of quality assurance and submitting them to the university president.
  5. Reviewing semi-annual reports from the units in schools and institutes.
  6. Preparing the semi-annual reports for the Center and its units and submitting them to the university president.
Duties of the Units’ Boards of Directors:
  1. Approving plans to achieve the Unit’s goals in alignment with the Center’s objectives and plans.
  2. Proposing incentives and rewards for outstanding activities by the Unit’s staff and submitting them to the university’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.
  3. Delegating certain urgent responsibilities to the Unit’s director as determined by the Board.
  4. Proposing acceptance of donations, grants, and aid for the Unit and submitting them to the university’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.
  5. Preparing the Unit’s semi-annual report and submitting it to the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university.
Duties of the Center’s Director:
  1. Calling for and presiding over board meetings.
  2. Monitoring the implementation of general policies to achieve the Center’s objectives.
  3. Monitoring the execution of decisions made by the Board.
  4. Proposing the secondment of staff to the Center and suggesting disciplinary actions for violations committed by them to the university president per the university and labor laws.
  5. Proposing the distribution of incentives and rewards to staff and presenting them to the university president as per the Board’s regulations.
  6. Any other responsibilities delegated by the Board.
  7. Representing the Center before external entities.
Duties of the Unit Directors:
  1. Calling for and presiding over unit board meetings.
  2. Monitoring the implementation of general policies to achieve the Unit’s objectives.
  3. Monitoring the execution of decisions made by the Board.
  4. Proposing the secondment of school/institute/program staff to the Center and suggesting disciplinary actions for violations committed by them to the dean of the school/institute/program per the university and labor laws.
  5. Proposing the distribution of incentives and rewards to staff and submitting them to the dean of the school/institute/program.
  6. Reporting the Unit’s board decisions to the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center via the dean of the school/institute.
  7. Other duties delegated by the Board.
  8. Representing the Unit before external entities.
