Meetings of the Center and Units’ Boards of Directors:

The board meets upon the director's invitation at least once a month or upon request by a majority of the members. Meetings are valid with a majority of the members present. If votes are tied, the director's side prevails. Membership is forfeited for any member absent for three consecutive meetings without an acceptable excuse. Minutes of the meetings are recorded in a special register and signed by the director.

Decisions of the Center and Units’ Boards of Directors:

Decisions of the Center’s board are submitted to the university president, and decisions of the Unit’s board are submitted to the dean of the school/institute/program within eight days of issuance for approval. They become effective if not objected to within two weeks from the date of receipt by the university president or dean’s office.

Incentives for Members of the Center and Units’ Boards of Directors:

Members of the Board, except students, receive a monthly incentive for attending meetings and fulfilling their assigned duties, as determined by the university president in the decision to form the members of the Center's board of directors, and upon the approval of decisions to form the boards of directors of the units.

Funding Activities of the Center:

The Center’s director proposes the budget required for each activity, which is approved by the university president from the university's budget.

Funding Activities of the Units

The Unit’s director proposes the budget required for each activity, which is approved by the dean of the school/institute/program from the school/institute/program's budget.

Administrative Responsibility for the Center and Units:

An administrative officer for the center is appointed by the university president and is responsible for administrative matters and implementing administrative and financial regulations, if any. An administrative officer for each unit is appointed by the dean of the school/institute/program. The university president also determines a monthly incentive for the administrative officer if their role at the Center or units constitutes an additional burden.
